Tragedy Strikes Oahu's East Shore
Renowned professional surfer Tamayo Perry has been identified as the victim of a fatal shark attack off Oahu's east coast on Sunday afternoon. Perry, 49, was a lifeguard and starred in films such as "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "Blue Crush."
According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, Perry's lifeless body was discovered with several visible bite marks. The attack occurred near Goat Island, a popular surfing spot.
Perry, known for his prodigious skills at the infamous Pipeline wave, had appeared in countless surf videos and documentaries, including "The Bomb" (1998), "Revelation" (2000), "All Aboard" (2002), and "Loaded Pipe" (2004).
